Creating an Attitude for Gratitude

I have taken some notes down from a really interesting video from Mind Movies and shared some points with you guys to read over. To start though, I would like to share why I’m working through this. Money has become such thorn in my life, all I get asked is for it, if I have it and when they can receive it. Bills, emotional strain and stress is bred from it. I don’t love it but I still want things to revert back to when it was just my power and control over it, when it was a ticket to my enjoyment and fruitful abundance of experiences and live well lived. I know already that I need to change my heart attitude to gratitude and my negative speech to projections of I can if I want to. I already make good and wise choices and need to give myself credit for how I manage money and manage it well. That is the only reason things are paid and taken care off because I do not spend outside my means, I have self control and I need to feed into these positives more and give myself credit for what I do.

The point that stood out for me to share with people I know would benefit is to think before you spend. There are too many opportunities where they waste their money and then are stuck from their lack of planning and instead of holding out or saving their money to pay their bills, they spend it on things that should be considered luxury items, things you buy if you have money left over. If you’re like me I hope these points help you work it together for your own good and you learn to say no to people who need to learn to manage their own wealth. You are not their piggy bank. I like this mind shift because it a reminder to respect myself, how negative others are with their actions and how my wealth is not theirs to squander. This isn’t about instant wealth but learning to make wiser choices and I think that is the reality of the mind shift and the real value of money.

Focus on the good :

  • what you focus on expands
  • any thoughts or feelings you may have like stress, regret worry, these things will keep growing and causing more problems because you keep expanding them
  • focus on all of the good things you have right now, allow these things to expand and help you vibrate at a higher level attracting what vibrates at a higher level
  • visualisation – what is the solution to my challenge
  • be conscious of the money stories you tell yourself – watch how you speak e.g.” I can’t afford to” versus “It’s not a priority right now”.

Be grateful:

  • there is absolutely no point resenting or regretting choices you have made in the past
  • these thoughts keep you tethered in the past
  • be grateful for all the wonderful things you do have and are going to have in the future
  • there is power of the law in expressing gratitude

Get clear about what it is you want:

  • besides debt free and being able to pay bills, what else is it you want it to do
  • you want to visualise well, feel the emotions of what the future is going to be with what it means to us and what its going to do for us
  • law of attraction money affirmation

Celebrate your success:

  • getting closer to your financial goals, ending debt
  • writing your wins, what went right for you that day
  • make sure you celebrate the small victories and shifting your vibrations
  • take just a few moments to analyse if this is something that is necessary, worth while, best for the future for me and my loved ones

I am the Wave

Today I was intentional with what I needed to meditate on, what was the one thing I was going to encourage myself with. As I closed my eyes, a clear voice in me said: “Become the wave.” There formed a picture in my mind of me standing in front of a giant wave. The wave had always represented something I was trying to resist, something I was fearful of because of how great it was and soon the picture changed from me face the wave to me turning my back to it and becoming embraced by it. It was a powerful image. I was no longer in fear of something so powerful but I was embracing myself, I was learning to stop trying to fight myself and resist my own greatness but instead, let it wash over me and embrace it.

Sometimes in quiet and stillness the truth is revealed and other times it’s just waiting for us to be open enough to listen and let it speak. I have resisted myself for a long time, another bad habit formed over years and years of being forcefully crushed in submission and broken into their order and that I might fit into someone else’s will. Yet here I am, as empowered as ever again by me. That the inner me knew it needed to never give up on the outer me. That two halves become a whole once again. Many times I got told to be quiet, many times I was scolded for telling the truth, many times the truth was pushed to be forgotten and every time I was made to feel wrong in every sense. That everything I was, was broken down, crushed and laid to waste by those who didn’t approve of my ability to keep being my authentic self. It didn’t sit well with them that I could face adversity as I did and still keep going, especially when they were the ones to cause me the greatest harm.

So you see, if you have those around you and it’s a constant fear to face giants, take a moment to seek the truth and it shall find you. It will tell you that, you, are in fact the giant, the victor, the glory holder and you are to not be intimidated or made fearful of anyone or anything.

Instead of feeling like you’re facing a giant, embrace the fact you are the giant. Change your mind, your perspective and understanding. You no longer face adversity but embrace it.
